Hey guys has anyone ever experienced a reduced engine power warning with no other lights on the dash and what is probably causing it. The truck is a 14 f450 cab and chassis model. I had just had it to the dealer for this problem and the check engine light was on and the said there were two sensors going bad on the exhaust so they changed them out and sent me on my way. Well after driving the truck around all day and not one issue it had just decided to set the rep warning again but did not set off any lights. Anybody have any ideas? Thanks for the help guys!
Rep reduced engine power. And there are no dash indicator lights this time it just chimes at you and goes into reduced engine power and you can only go 5 to 10 mph. But if you shut the truck off and restart it runs fine for awhile
Well it's back at the dealer where it just was yesterday they had to give me a loaner car till they could get it in. I have a scanner and it was not pulling anything up tho.
Ok guys here's the update got the truck back earlier today and everything is fine the dealer says that the software never updated to the newest version like it was supposed to. But so far so good the truck is not missing a beat now. Thanks for the help and ideas guys. And to answer the last post I don't run additives so no on the cardboard circle.
