Hutch mod filter ?

Some people have had trouble using a filter like that because of the restriction it applies to the fuel being supplied to the pump. Some people have had great success using a filter like that with zero problems with fuel flow to the pump.
I decided to go with the Racor PS120 because it was the closest sort of screen filter I could find to what the Ford engineers put inside the tank. Also, it has a clear case so you can visually inspect the filter/screen without breaking the seal on the system.
You could give it a shot and see how things go, if you start having problems at WOT or something you know where the problem is likely.
