Hi gang . Is there a way to select your own tire size and not use AE's preset numbers. With 32 selected, checking it against GPS and mile markers I'm about 1% off about a mile per hundred. I went to change it and the only selection it will allow is 32.25. With that setting I'm off the other way. Can't find a way to select my own numerals. Am I missing something or is this just one of those it is what it is situations. Thank you
When I had it set to 32 inches the spedometer appear to be dead on but it's hard to see a 1% error. When I said it to 32 and a quarter I can actually see the disagreement across the speed band the truck says it's going about 1 mile an hour faster than it really is. I'd like to be able to make smaller adjustments than a quarter inch. Say .1 or .15. I know 1% seems a little **** but I hand cancalculate mileage and I like for it to be accurate
These are brand new tires. That's what got me to changing the size to begin with. Like I said I know I'm being a little **** but I just wanted to see if I could play with it and get it exact
We are stuck with the presets in there - they are part of the ABS system. I have learned one thing by playing with all the buttons: I'm either dead-on for speed or dead-on for the odo - but never both. I opted for an accurate odo because I figure my fuel economy with that. My speed plus or minus a few percent is not as critical.

I agree Rich, Odo is more important than speedo. Guess I'll have to play with it, see which is closest and compensate manually.
