Gotta love it! Favorite part is when it finally fires and the guy smiles. I think they might wanna switch to decaf though.

Ahhhh...... My beloved flatheads !!! Unique they are in appearance and sound !!!! Hades i drove mine for 2 weeks with open headers and it was a beautiful racket , and yet even with no exhaust it was not as loud as my "other" truck at that time with duals and glasspacks.

A guy begged me to start the flattie on the truck at a show last yr. Said it will cost you $5 . I started it for him anyway .His smile was worth it .

From what I've been reading iron pipe like used for plumbing is considered excellent. 1.5" or 2" straight iron pipes, no mufflers or anything. Not too loud, just right.

If my 53 had been built with a Flathead from the factory, it would still have one. They are great motors and sound badass!
