Need help. I researched code 46 and tried the wd40 on connectors under drivers seat with neg results. Can anyone give me any other reasons the AIRBAG light might stay on? I don't know why but sometimes the light would go out unexpectedly but will always come back. Any help would be appreciated this light is annoying.
Well that explains that then. Even without a CEL the PCM should still have stored a code. P0720, P0308, P0475, etc. Those aren't pertinent to your issue, just examples. Try getting the codes read with a legitimate scanner and see what you find, it may point you in the right direction. The light blinking trick is for school stuff, usually on OBDI systems.
Keep in mind for technical or mechanical issues, an auto parts free scan usually won't pull the codes. For this however, you should be fine as it's not powertrain related.
Okay I used my Bluetooth driver and these are the codes I pulled: Still trying to get that airbag light off. Already cleaned connecter under driver side seat with no success.
