SES light diagnosis help

Anyone in the Denver, CO area with AutoEnginuity that would like to help a guy out? SE$ light is on...

If you just need to know what the code is most if not all the chain auto parts stores will read them for free.

I thought those generic code readers couldn't read 7.3's because they are obdII exempt or something.

I tried to have them read at O'ry's and the code reader said no data link.

Also, I checked and replaced (where necessary) all fuses, under dash and underhood, checked for continuity in the obdII pins, and have the two cig. lighters unplugged behind dash.
