Just installed my outer handles and the latch mechanism. Ive had the doors apart a couple of times now and for some reason on final assembly the outer door handle doesnt want to push the lever on the latch enough to disengage the little gear on the latch. Has anyone else had this problem and is there any adjustment?

You can adjust, just like you've done. Use white lithium grease on the mechanism inside door. Once lubricated the results are overwhelming.
Be surprised what a little cleaning and lubing does!!!

I did soak it down with wd40 before i put them in. I didnt adjust them though, i was asking if there was anyway to adjust the throw in the handle or latch.
I just pulled the handle out inspected everything, put a little twist in the leverpart of the latch hosed it with wd and what do you know works perfect. Thanks
Glad to hear, I actually had an issue with a remake inner door handle spline once I replaced it the outer button wouldn't move at all. A slight bend to the inner rod and it started working fine. Quite a PIA though.
