That's absolutely silly. People will believe anything.
I don't think it is a question of believing. Your truck is heavier on the driver side. Your transfer case, DEF fluid, and your fuel tank are on that side of the truck. Plus these new trucks have alot softer springs then what used to be in these trucks. So it rides nice for you.
There are lots of threads about it and it is very rare to see someone complain about passenger side lean, just driver side.
With the Titan 50 gallons how many gallons are useable. From peaple who has them.
Frank.
All the gallons are useable, same as in the original - just don't run your fuel tank dry as you will cease to proceed down the road! Running out of fuel is still running out of fuel.
I had Titan install my fuel tank up at their company headquarters in Idaho Falls. James Patience is the guy you see on the YouTube videos and he installed mine. I was so impressed with their operation and service. Since I did mine on a 2002 F350 after owning it for over ten years, I kick myself for not having done this sooner. chukker
I have 2013 6.7 crew cab short box, and am done with the small fuel tank. Has anyone had luck finding a dealership that will install a titan 50 gallon tank and not void the warranty?
I had a friend install mine since I didn't have time. Any local shop can likely do it, as it's not a difficult install. Do you already have a mech you trust? If so they will prolly know who to refer you to if they won't do it themselves.
I bet that truck has quite the driver side lean with that large replacement titan tank in it.
I personally really like the in-bed tanks better.
I haven't noticed much if any additional drivers side lean. What I have noticed is that with a full tank the weight must sit more aft and it changes rake.
Of course I don't notice either now since I can inflate the drivers side airbag slightly more than the other if I want to take out the sag and lean.
Just got a 50gal tank in bed Aux tank from Lund. If fits below my bed cover and is gravity feed. Haven't taken any trips with it yet but looking forward to the added range.
I've added 45 gallons one time to the 50 gallon one but never usually run it that low. Range now shows 900+ miles till empty on fill up. I added a in-bed 55 gallon with transfer pump this fall as Ive been running multiple 2200 mile trips so now with 105 gallons I can shop for fuel at best price not buy because I have to at any price. Also makes some lonely stretches of highway better not searching for fuel
