Replacement Fuel Tanks

I have 2013 6.7 crew cab short box, and am done with the small fuel tank. Has anyone had luck finding a dealership that will install a titan 50 gallon tank and not void the warranty?

I added second fuel tank that is certified for gasoline in the bed. It's 46 gallons and I added a pump to transfer the fuel to my main gas tank when needed. Increased my range to over 700 miles and 400 miles when towing.

Contact Titan. They might have an authorized installer in your area or know someone.

I am well satisfied with my tank. It was installed locally by local mechanic.

Think about the aux tank like ugh3012 got. They come in all sizes and capacities and can easily double or more your fuel level. Either pump or gravity feeds into your filler neck for the existing tank. My local dealer said this will not change the warranty. Cheaper and easier to install than the underbelly tanks.

I have a CCSB diesel as well, and I absolutely love my 50 gallon Titan replacement. I have no regrets.

I bet that truck has quite the driver side lean with that large replacement titan tank in it.

I personally really like the in-bed tanks better.

Seriously? If an extra five 5-gallon jugs of diesel were enough to generate "quite the driver side lean" then I would have much bigger problems and sell the truck. It would be a bigger difference to have a 200 pound man sit behind the driver.

No. There's no lean. Don't be silly.

There is alot more weight on that side of the truck. It is a normal thing. Even Ford recognizes it. Most people don't even notice it until someone points it out. Then you always notice it...LOL

Just do a quick google...lots of people complain about the driver side lean.

Nope. No lean at all. The extra 37.5 gallons only adds approx 250 pounds.

Why should that little weight cause a lean when a 250 pound man doesn't change it?

I am just telling you that if you are a **** person like some of the people I know that have the lean and don't have an aftermarket fuel tank. It exists on stock trucks. Adding the extra 250 pounds of fuel is going to make it worse on your OCD.

I ordered the Camper Package which adds 2 levels up on the front springs provided they were not selected with the options to be installed during production. Suspect the rear springs are a step up also. This might be part of why I do not notice a lean on mine.
