What beautiful weather we have this weekend. Shari is taking off to see a friend that's moving away (too bad we'll be out of town when they move), Tim will be at work, so it looks like it's just Rocky and I here all day, unsupervised
But I need to get the yard mowed and trimmed, and I want to get a good paste wax done on the truck before we take off next week. Maybe I won't get into much trouble after all.
It certainly looks like a good day. Might take the jeep out and stretch HER legs a little, topless of course. Got quite a lot to get done today, since it's been 3 weeks since I've had a weekend at home. Some patches in the front yard are knee high in areas!
Bob, if you feel like running Ka'Bluey out around lunch time, I'm thinking of throwing some burgers on the grill. it'd be good to stretch his legs before you take off on your trip, you know. I might even have a way to get some of the Maple Bacon Porter out of the keg for you to try!
Ya'll have a good day, and if you find any 'trouble' take some pics!
I competieted in a local lawn mower race this morning that I got qualified for on the radio. Didn't win but had fun nome the less. Let the wife talk me into going to see the movie "Finding Dory" at the jacksonvile Movie theater. Then we had plans of going out to dinner but the wife started feeling bad so we just rode home.
Now I've got a frozen pizza in the oven, and about to crack open a beer. Yall have a good night.
I hope everybody had a good Fathers Day/Weekend.
I had a nice time, Tim got me a T Shirt I seen on line and wanted. And Shari surprised me with Christmas Lights (Yes I like Christmas Lights). Well she actually got me a 5 piece Strobe light set that I've been eyeballing literally for years. These will go in new our 32 channel Spiral Tree that Tim and I built, can't wait to see that thing lit up. It should have 3200 lights on it when it's finished, not counting the tree topper, and strobe lights.
A short grocery run this morning for our last 3 dinners of the week. We take off this Thursday morning early as I can get Shari up and ready. We'll be on the road at least 10 to 12 hours that first day, since I like getting the worst half over with. Then Friday morning it'll be a short day in the truck, driving the last 4-6 hours.

Sounds like fun. Did you run that new mower you have?

Nah they had a pair of brand new cub cadets to race. They had more HP than my troy bilt, but were slow compared to it.
Have a safe trip bob!
Yesterday we had my parents and some friends over for BBQ chicken on the grill, along with some corn cooked on the grill. Drank a few beers and played a couple games if corn hole.
Tonight I rushed home threw some charcoal in the grill and got a pair of burgers going for dinner.
I know I should be doing something other than playing on the computer, but tomorrow is going to be non stop getting things ready so we can take off early Thursday morning.
So, I guess I'll set here a bit yet, and at least kill the rest of my coffee.
Y'all have a good day.
Rocky has his appointment for his bath later this morning. Then I'm off to the store for ice and snack things for our trip that starts early tomorrow morning.
I hope everybody had a good Fathers Day/Weekend.

Thought I would be productive during my lunch break today. Jumped on the mower to finally mow the front yard, it's only been a couple of months. Should have looked closer at the mower, and I'd have seen it needed gas... anyway, after running it out, and realizing the gas can was empty I jumped in the jeep, which of course didn't start...
Now I know not to try to be productive on a lunch break.
