I'm going to be buying all new weather stripping for my crew project and while looking on Rockauto I found they sell Fairchild brand and the prices seem decent
The reviews I was able to find for FaIrchild seem positive
I had planned to get all this stuff from Dennis Carpenter but it's about double the price
Does anybody have experience with Fairchild stuff? Years back I replaced door seals, can't remember what manufacturer, but they were way too thick. Had to SLAM the doors to get them closed

I also had bought door seals where, I had to slam the doors to latch.
Until, I went with Soffseal as a fellow FTE posted here one time so I can say the , I now can just push the door closed to latch..
Got mine off Summit.com ,
That my 02 cent
PS sometimes if your cab is air tight then you'll need to keep your floor vents open to close easier.

I just started installing the DC door seals on my 71 flareside. Seem to be good quality. Door takes a little more effort to close (from the outside - have not tried from the inside - no door handles, seats, steering wheel).
