I'm converting my 1979 Bronco from vacuum brakes to hydroboost brakes with an E450 hydrobooster. I am also currently using a GM power steering pump.
I need some help figuring out how to get the right fittings to hook everything up
Here is a diagram
Now here is the hose that I am going to have to switch each end to their own line to work. One end (the big one) originally went into the GM pump. It uses an o-ring. And the smaller end went to the steering gear.
Im going to have to have a hose with the big end o-ring to connect to the GM pump and then the other end goes to the hydrobooster.
The smaller end fitting on the original hose will have to go to the steering gear while the other end fits into the hydrobooster. Here are the fittings
here are the hydrobooster fittings
Anyone have an idea what I can do? What size are these fittings?
If there's not a lot of advice here I'd take the fittings you have to any competent hydraulics hose repair shop, possibly one of the Parker stores if one is close by?
