1987 fuel tank selector valve
My fuel tank selector valve is toast. I did a search on replacement parts but I can't find the parts online any where. Where can I find a new valve?

Hi,
If you are talking about the tank selector manifold in the frame well under the driver's side door....
I had to get mine from FORD!
About $150!

Eww I hope it's not that pricy. I just took the rear tank fuel pump out and it's completely full of bad gas. Tank is all rusted out on the inside also...

Has anybody tried this unit? Rockauto also sells it and says it fits. I obviously would need a new connector...

Hi,
My problem was the manifold was pulling gas from one tank and then returning gas to the other tank!
Not good because at some point the return tank is full (and overflowing) going down the highway!
Don't ask how I know this!

These valves were CRAP from day one, but there are several different types.
F150, F250, or? What size is the engine, does the valve have 3 ports or 6 ports?

A couple of months ago there were 10 listings of the reservoir/valve for reasonable prices. Now there isn't a single one! Guess I should have picked up a spare for myself. I did find this one, but boy oh boy is it pricey!

F150. 5.0 and it's the six port.
