Got the issue on my '89 f150 with the fuel getting returned to the wrong tank and the tank over flowing. Wanted to replace the tank selector valve but the only options Im finding are with go a genuine ford part (very expensive) or the aftermarket dorman unit which Rockauto no longer seem to sell.
Is anyone here aware of any other options to solve this issue or other manufacturers of tank selector valves.
From what I read attempting repair of the valve I have isn't really an option..

I found my dual-tank reservoir valve on Amazon about a year ago. As I recall it was a Ford part at reasonable cost.
