zf5 to e4od

Looking for most info possible about this swap, easiest way possible. I'm swapping my 7.3 idi turbo for a 12v and looking to be in the 600hp 1300tq area. I was Going to run my zf5 but I can't seem to find any after market parts to hold the hp and tq I'm looking for but seems everyone has a e4od kit to hold the power. So should I be looking at a used 90 e4od? Do I need the harness or tcm? Can I run just a pcs set up and not need a harness etc? Trucks 4x4 will the t case handle it? Truck is a 1990 f250 4x4 btw. Any info would be great. Thanks

Why not go with the NV4500? I've heard they are great. Probably cheaper than a build e4od too

NV4500 and attached T case is the way to go for simplicity, but the ZF is cheaper to build.

What do you plan on doing with this truck??? Unless your pulling you won't be putting max HP through the trans all the time and the ZF will live just fine with a stout clutch.

I thought about the nv but it's rated as much as the zf and the zf is close on go numbers but not any wear near the tq. They make stronger synchros or alloy shafts for the zf? Truck would be daily driven but I have a really bad lead foot and would want it reliable and indestructible.

Yes, that's why I'm trying to figure out what I'm gonna run so I can start ordering parts. And start selling my idi turbo set up and zf parts.

What about a later NV5600? They are much stronger, except in 6th, but most of that is taken care of if you dump in an extra quart or two.
If I was looking for a trans to run behind a Cummins, it would probably be the Aisin 6speed. I don't know what is available for aftermarket controllers though.

The problem I'm running into with swapping to the nv is I'd still have to build it to with stand the power and run a different t case and shorten d lines or extend d lines wich cost wise I'm thinking the e4od building would be cheaper and don't need to get a different t case. And I know parts are very available on a e4od. But I would above all rather run the zf but can't find any parts to make it hold up. Any idea what the t case can safely hold? That's going to be the weakest link since everything else will be built I'm assuming.
