Reps sent to a few of you guys, well said.
Me not owning a Powerstroke isn't relivant. My truck went away but my knowledge didn't... tone it down a mile or two and you'd be surprised what this non Powerstroke owner knows. The only thing that has changed is my knowledge on other diesels.... lots here have benefited from that too. I still have random PSD pull in my driveway constantly with a problem or someone needing help with something their not sure of. Most are people who live around me have heard I'm the go to guy... yeah that guy with the big white cummins in his driveway guy...
Just because I live in the north means nothing, where I'm from we learn respect, learn it and you'd be surprised how far a Yankee can take you...

The only productive info I can add is that "fuel dilution into the oil sump" is a known reality for 6.4's which spend too much time idling and not enough time "working" (either pulling or running down the road so that the regen cycle takes place with the engine under load). When you couple the regeneration cycle with an idling 6.4L engine, some of the fuel does in fact end up in the oil sump. This was clearly documented by Schaeffer while I was still selling oil for them about 5 years ago because it nearly ended up in some lawsuits against the oil manufacturers until the dilution routine became understood and acknowledged as a reality.

We (when I was with Schaeffer) had a number of clients whose 6.4 oil sump level would actually INCREASE over time due to the incoming fuel. We all understand what can potentially happen in an engine which has a continuing flow of diesel fuel into the oil sump.

Am I wrong or isn't that what this site is for ? To correct people when wrong and help spread knowledge . Do you even own a powerstroke? You said you sold it for a dodge? What are you doing on here shouldn't you be on a cummins forum

Smh I guess the other guy didn't realize I wasn't talking about a 7.3. This is a Web page . I really could care less about what strangers 15 hours away think of me . But I work 7 12s and have for the past 7 years and am constantly meeting new guys on jobs with built deisels and every one of them told me forums are exactly what they said . DRAMA. I will keep yal posted on my build. Yall have a great day !!
This is one of the least drama filled forums on the 'net, in my opinion. However, I will admit that wherever you go, DRAMA does indeed follow, but you're looking in the wrong direction for the root cause.

There is a common denominator feeding the root cause of the drama, but it isn't the users who are posting the responses to your posts. All they're trying to do is offer help, but in a manner most wary as they sift through your posts in an effort to determine just how much (if any) subterfuge is being used.

What the heck does that have to do with the post you quoted? Absolutely nothing. As well, selling isn't allowed in the tech forums so stop asking and go peruse the classified forums.

Good luck with whatever you end up
I do not disagree with you . I'm 27 years old and do not have decades of experience . I know that when in regen the 6.4 injectors pump fuel on the exhaust stroke to clean out the carbon in a certain part of the exhaust which acts as a incinerator. But not all of the fuel makes it out the exhaust and passes the rings and enters the oil . So I'm not 109% what you thought I was saying but I do know this . Why don't you do me a favor and tell me what you think ? Lol

You mad because I said your dodge was ugly ? Hah
Yet you accuse the forum of having drama, and being the least helpful "of the 13" you're on.

There's always an open invitation to give them more of your attention and us less, if you continue posting in this manner you so enjoy!

I was hoping to put all of that behind me . Its over . Done . Please do not quote the negative posts , all of that is squashed and now it's being cycled back around again . I know now that you have pull on here so I'm not going to say anything out of line because I'm trying to make my truck as well built nice and reliable as possible and there are kind , helpful people here..take care ,sincerely, Easton .

Very happy to hear things have changed so dramatically within the last couple days. I do hope it's now all water under the bridge. (You can't hear my voice, so let me be clear, I am not being sarcastic)

Please do not quote the negative posts , all of that is squashed and now it's being cycled back around again .
All posts I quoted above were posted by you yesterday and the day before. They were not "quashed" nor were they being "recycled back around again." They were being addressed by me for the first time.

There was no rehashing.

However, as you have already stated, you wanna put that behind you so for that I say, don't compose negative posts and people won't be able quote them.

I know now that you have pull on here so I'm not going to say anything out of line because I'm trying to make my truck as well built nice and reliable as possible and there are kind , helpful people here..take care ,sincerely, Easton .
Well of course I have pull, I'm part of the moderating team. We're charged with keeping the peace, ensuring fun and good tech for all when possible, and to make sure the FTE Guidelines are being minded.

I give you credit. You have realized you don't wanna mess with the users here who wanna help, and you realize it's a good idea to follow the rules so the guys with their user names in red font don't have to get involved with the way you post.

Since you're turning over a new leaf, let's start from the beginning.

Welcome to FTE Bigdirty! We have a great bunch of guys here who have zero compunction spending other peoples money! We love to help you burn a hole in your wallet so you can get your rig where you want. Pull up a chair, open a beverage of your choice and sit a spell.
