Has anybody else run this coolant in their 4.9's? I've run Rotella T6 motor oil since it came out, and regular Rotella 15w-40 before that, so when I saw "Rotella" on a bottle and it didn't specifically forbid me to use it, I did.
It seems like Extended Life Coolants (ELCs) have come a long way in recent years. Shell recommends that Rotella not be diluted any more than 15%, and that it is compatible with other coolants so long as it's >15% Rotella. It also advertises a 600,000 mile/1,000,000,000 km lifespan (and longer if tested), which makes it sound like a good match for a 4.9!
Anyways, I'll follow up with my experiences but wanted to see if anybody else had tried it so far. I added it as a 50% change when resetting a problematic thermostat housing. Not a full flush, which sounds like heresy when swapping coolant types, but it's in line with the Rotella instructions.
