Coolant
The OM indicates WSS-M97B44-D2 as the spec coolant. Is the Motorcraft brand the only coolant to meet the spec? My Google efforts have not been conclusive. Thanks in advance. ..RP

Might be worth checking the label on the back of a one-gallon jug of Prestone Dex-Cool 50/50, product #AF850.
If you can’t find an equivalent, then the safe and simple thing to do could be to just use the Motorcraft coolant. The initial change interval is 105K miles / six years for the 6.2 (100K / 6 years for the diesel), and then every three years or 48K miles after that. The annualized cost difference will be negligible, IMHO.
