Ecm Problem

Hey everyone, first of all im new here, and ive been wanting to make anaccont here for the longest time but ive never really gotten to it till now lol. so ive got a 1999 ford f 350 7.3. so one morning my truck didn't want to start. the "wts" light didn't turn on,and the fuel pump wasn't working. so I did some diagnosing, and found that the computer had gone out.(fuses were good). my I called everywhere and not one place had an ecm with the same serial number anywhere near. the first 4 characters are f5sb. so I found a place that tests/repairs them for 189$ not too bad. I sent it in,and got it back saying they found a burnt up circuit for the glow plugs(pin 101). so I put it all back together and opened the switch to fill up the fuel bowl. on the second time I opened the switch,i was right back where I started. no wts light, fuel pump,or oil pressure. I sent it back in with the Idm as warranty to get checked, and checked all wires and grounds for any corrosion ect. found a bad glow plug relay, replaced that. few days later got everything back, and they said they found nothing wrong with either one.put it all back together and did the same thing. filled up the fuel bowl and on that second key cycle,it doesn't work anymore. any of you guys have any idea why. a buddy of mine said I might have to take it to the dealer to sync the pcm to the system, but as you all know, dealers are expensive If you guys have any ideas, let me know! thanks

"F5SB" is the connector part number and will do you absolutely no good as THEY ALL have that.

I concur with the previously mentioned fuse 30 and unplug fuel bowl heater. Mine has been unplugged for years...dont really need it in my area.
