Frustrating transmission issues
I have posted about my transmission several times. I typed up a long new post for about 90 minutes describing in detail a bunch of symptoms and what happened this weekend pulling about 8k pounds worth of camper to the races Friday and accidentally deleted it, so it is even MORE frustrating at this point. I don't think I have the patience to do it again.
I basically had a situation where the transmission had a confused shift, temp got hot, after the funny shift, it wouldn't lock the torque converter and shift into 4th gear. I pulled over, attempted to pull codes with Torque pro, but it wouldn't do it. Babied it to the races and then again back home last night. Pulled codes with AE this morning and got:
P0733 - Gear3 Incorrect Ratio
P0750 - Shift Solenoid A
Now what?

No, it would not. There is no way any speed sensor can be at a higher RPM than the engine when it's at idle and the truck isn't moving.
