Bought a International roll back truck , the engine is a T444E , Ive been told its like a 7.3?

Truck starts up well and idles but I cant get it to rev up when I step on the gas pedal.

Any ideas where to start looking?

There are a few medium/heavy duty scanners available under $100, they won't give much if any data but do read codes. If the cluster is functional you can sometimes get blink codes, but I have yet to see a 4700 with a working cluster. The T444E is the same base engine as the 7.3psd, but everything electronic is different.

It was the fuel peddle thanks.
Truck still has a few other issues like the glowplugs I think.
Anyone know of a site I can go to and find out more info about this engine and truck?

Glow plugs can be ohmed out with a meter, remove connected wire and test GP with meter to ground

usually they read 1 ohm and some cheap meters don't read low ohms well to test them all connected which would be .125 ohms
