p2139 p2140 codes. accelerator pedal?

Heys guys I'm trying to figure my truck out and was hoping to find some help. I've been having problems with my truck and it gets a lot worse when it gets warm outside. thetruck gets really smokey, doesn't want to downshift and sometimes the veins in the turbo are not working either. I thought I would check the codes and this is what I got which is accelerator codes and could explain all my problems. The truck runs pretty good up untill the temps get to high 70's or more outside. I tried a dorman stationary ped and it did not work at all so I put my pedal back in. I have the power pedal but not the wallet to buy a replacement so stationary is what I tried. The dorman didn't work at all until shutting it on and off a couple times and thing it would only work for a minute and quit again. I am egr deleted with powermax turbo, arp studded, custom tunes by tsd,and banks intercooler with idp 58v ficm with a tune. Is there any way to test my pedal or the wiring? I know it send signals to the map sensor and pcm but no idea what to check. I heard these trucks were bad for wire chafing so that was also a thought or maybe just a bad pedal and bad replacement pedal..Thanks for any help

No the Accelerater peddel DOES NOT send signal to MAP Sensor

You can check the ACCelerater pedal with a SGII or AE

or maybe a DVM

Check all 3 track of pedal

Any scanner?????????????? DVM????????????????????

I keep putting off getting AE everytime I have the extra cash. I really need to get it . I've got a edge insight and a old sct xcal. Is dvm stand for digital volt meter? I got one of them I can check voltage with.

Yes DVM=Dig Volt Meter

its a 3 track pedal so you will needd to know what track your testing

here are the Values that you want

APP 0 0 13 0 - 17.75 PERCENT Accelerator Pedal Position
APP1 4.0 4.0 3.4 0.7 - 4.2 VOLT Accelerator Pedal Track 1
APP2 1.4 1.4 1.9 1.4 - 4.1 VOLT Accelerator Pedal Track 2
APP3 0.9 0.9 1.4 0.8 - 3.5 VOLT Accelerator Pedal Track 3

dont know how to tell you what wire is what track though

A SGII will get these AFAIK I havent put these codes in it but there are codes for it AP% and APP123 tracks IIRC

I do have Ap% on my SGII so that does work just not shure on the 3 tracks but Imagine they work

Seams Like Edge Always Falls short when trying to Diagnostic stuff

AE would be awesome
