Hi guys I've recently bought a 96 f-250 7.5l and had some questions about it. Ok first of all when I reverse my tires lean way in I've replaced all the ball joints upper and lower. I've replaced all the Axel pivot bushings and the radius arm bushing plus the shocks. Could anyone help me to understand why this is still happening?
New front leaf springs will help considerably. Are yours original?
My 96 F250 5.8 sagged a little in the front....exaggerated upon reverse. I replaced the front springs with the PSD front leafs and it sits nice and tall in the front and don't notice any wheel lean in reverse. Infact my front wheels lean just ever so slightly the opposite way when sitting normally. \--/ Hope this makes sense.
Your 460 weighs more than my 5.8. They may be just about perfect for you.
The ride is just a little stiff but the stance is perfect.
The first picture is after the new springs.....the last two pictures are before. You can see the tire lean and the distance the fender was from the top of the tire before.
Actually the after picture is AFTER I backed it up onto the concrete. That is as low as it ever sits now.
