I have tried everything. The truck will start and run, when I put in drive it cuts out. I replaced the fuel filter with new factory one, I purged it, and still does same thing. It feels like a fuel issue. I had my wife turn the key while I placed my hand on fuel pump and it was running, but it still does it. I got it to go up the street, but it stalls and I will start back but after a few cranks. I hope someone has had this same issue and can help me. It is a 2002 F350 DRW. I have a Terminator HPOP, I have AE (although not too sure how to use it other than reading codes), I have done the 50 cent mod. I got the FRX from Clay a couple of years ago, and take good care of the truck, but I need it running and don't want to take it to Stealership
So it runs at idle, but the moment you put it into drive it stalls? Is the shifter loose? Could be neutral safety switch is not lining up right.
Or it runs and you can barely nurse it along in drive? Any white smoke out the exhaust? That's how mine was when the fuel pump went to it's ragged and raspy death.
We'll see if the codes come back. And prolly should google them, what the heck.
Ok rode around the block and it cut out under throttle and tac dropped to zero with engine light and water in fuel light come on but it started right back without me turning the key or taking out of drive. Just like power just shut out
Ok just found out something else; once truck got warmed up it stalled. What could this be? When it was cold from sitting, it started fine, now it's doing the same again
