Back with another question. The PO added a F7078 one wire voltage regulator. I already wired to the battery and ran the other wire to the green/red 904 wire for the idiot light.
My main question is I have the black/yellow wire, and a yellow wire from the horn relay that are not wired to anything. Also, the PO removed the voltage regulator. Any ideas on where they need to go to? Thanks
May be it's a 3g built into the alternator? Does the alternator have a pulley fan.
If no fan then it a 3g 90-130 amps post a few pictures if you can.

Thanks for the replies. I will post a picture today, as soon as I figure out how.
The alternator is a stock Ford unit that has the additional one wire regulator added. It is nice to modify some things, but cleaning up other peoples modifications has been a pain. And trust me, I can't believe this thing even ran, or burned to the ground.
I did the easy part, I ran the one word to the battery side of the relay, and soldered the 904 wire to the regulator for the idiot light. I am stumped on what to do with the black/yellow and yellow wire from the horn relay. Thanks.
I see your using one of those mickey mouse one wire setup. One was sent to me when bought a 100 amp alternator. That black wire tees into the red high output on the alternator and go to the regulator terminal. Gee forgot where the yellow hooks into.
You Would be better off going to a 3g 130amp alternator setup get rid of the one wire Mickey mouse wiring mess IMOP

Thanks for the help, the entire truck was Mickey Mouse. 3 bolts held the engine to the transmission and the list goes on. I will check into the 3G costs, hopefully not much.
