side exhaust pics

Any pics of side exit exhaust? I may end up with turn downs. I need to exit 3" duals before the rear wheels.

Why? Run your exhaust all the way out the rear. You still have a good sound and it's not loud in the cab.

HIO Silver I had seen that on google images, I was thinking about a boom tube nascar type tip didn't know that was you.
Gangsta I dont have room for exhaust out the rear. Rear mounted fuel tank, rear sway bar and air bags especially 3". Even if I ran outside frame between tire and frame would be too close to air bags.
I dont have enough room to run out between rfront fender edge and rear tire plus I mocked it up and it look just bad.
I thought about like a saleen exhaust but that is a one shot deal no going back if I dont like it.
I really like the 2012 boss mustang tips but they are too small.

Maybe it would look better with a trim ring/bezel around it.

Not a Ford but, it's just an idea.

The extra length of the bezel on the RAM SRT is a smart idea- no burnt/sooty paint that way.

one thing i have noticed with side exhaust , they always seem to be in the way when working under the truck . I cursed the side pipes about 20 times yesterday while installing my new 9"

[QUOTE=ultraranger;16100782]Maybe it would look better with a trim ring/bezel around it.

That was the original plan to come out thru the bed. but where i want to come out is where the bed support is,yes i could move it. I have a set of 65 or 67 vette exhaust bezels I was going to use for trim rings. I also have a set of 65 gt mustang but they dont have the correct curve to match the body.

I think I'm going to use turn downs and I hope to angle them so they are hidden by the bedside except for the part that turns down. Thats the plan for now. if I ever get the stupid ac condenser to fit like I want.
