I have 2005 ford f150 4.6l. I replaced the position sensor the throttle body motor and releaned it. And still the electronic fuel throttle control light comes on but drives fine what could be the problem
On the top of your pedal are 3 potentiometers. They ALL have to agree on where you have the pedal pressed too.
If one of them is going out, your throttle control light will come on. If 2 of them fail, you are only going to set at an idle with a disabled engine. When you read the codes, read a live data stream and look for "ACC POS A" "ACC POS B", "ACC POS C".
All of them should be close to each other. My Bosch scanner shows "THRTL POS A" and then "ACC B" "ACC C" so you may get different interpretation on the codes depending on the scanner, but all 3 reading should be close to each other. Once of them probably will show zero all the time or crazy numbers for no reason.
