Throttle Position Sensor?

Think I've got a throttle position sensor problem, throttle is very "jumpy" at low rpms. I swear I've seen the SES light go on at night, but by the time my eyes get over there it's out. Haven't pulled the codes yet, but will.

Just wondered if anybody's had any luck just replacing just the sensor vs replacing the whole pedal assembly.

Mine went bad at 58,000 miles. Didn't want to come off of idle.

I couldn't find just the throttle position sensor (tps) locally, so had to replace the whole pedal assembly. Throttle response is back to normal. Just wanted to close the thread out for future search. Craig

I had the same issues with throttle response (hesitations and surges) and just replaced the TPS. All is back to normal and my gas mileage has improved to boot!?! Not sure why but I'm not complaining!
