Maybe if you have a REALLY BIG tie rod puller/press, and you can actually get it in there. The stud is really long. A pickle fork will rip the boot for sure.

It may be awhile before I can get the alignment results but when I do Ill be sure to put em on this thread.

I removed / reinstalled the tracking bar from my 2008 without tearing the boot, several years ago.

I honestly don't remember how I got my trak bar off, but I had no issues with ripping the boot either. I do remember putting a pickle fork back in the tool box after seeing it would do more harm than good. I probably ended up getting a big hammer after it. You know...a precision tool.
