I have a 2008 F-250SD Lariet and I am about to put 33's with slight offsets on it. The truck came new from Ford and it measures out level to the ground on front and back and doesn'r seeem to have a factory rake on it. I had plenty of trucks in my day but this one seems to be the best so far. The Super Duty Shop I know well here says that I could go with or without a leveling kit with the 33's. Has any one had any issues with not installing a leveling kit on a 08 6.4L 250SD? I'm wondering if really need it or not.
I know the 33's will not rub with a small off-set rim, but just want to make sure I'm not wasting my time or money on a leveling kit.
I would think if you don't believe the tires will not rub and there is no rake, I would save my money.... I invested in a front end leveling kit for my 2006 F350 SD LB FX4 because of the rake, but noticed a slight steering wheel shimmy after since I did not invest in new track arms brackets to lower to tie point on the frame. I decided to live with it and not spend more $$$$ for adding the brackets.
I have an 08 that sits pretty level(visually, and measuring). I contributed that to the fact that I have the camper package which includes beefier coils, and the fact that I have the 5.4L. I just installed 305/65R18s on my truck and they don't rub at all(no leveling kit). They are roughly 34x12". I have a pic or two in my gallery if you would like to see.

Not having your truck realigned after the leveling kit will lead to increased wear on your Ball joints, tie rods etc.. Investing in a quality alignment is imperative. The alignment shop may request caster/camber shims. Lifting/leveling done properly can be pricey.
if i find the thread and if i trade in my 04 for a newer truck probally not i would install this, kinda pricey but its so worth it
Are you talking about the icon leveling kit? It's like 1400$, but it lifts the front and rear about 2-3". Seminaryranger has it on his 09. Pretty sweet if you have the money.
