Hello peeps, I have a 2007 f350 6.0, just replaced the oil pressure sensor in January, now, my truck is surging like crazy! I heard it could be the ICP sensor, how easy is this to change? And where do I find it if this is the problem! Help! Sos
Thanks Shelley
You should post some data for a better diagnosis. Data such as ICP volts, ICP pressure, IPR% at the least when it's surging and idle.
For a quick test, unplug the ICP sensor and run it. It will run on a default. The ICP is on the top passenger side valve cover. Also inspect the plug for oil leaking from the sensor or weak wires. There are also replacement plugs available because they do go bad.
