What is the black rectangular button behind gearshifter for?

What is the black rectangular button behind gearshifter for?
Still getting used to all the new buttons...can't seem to find this one in the manual. Rectangular black button between gearshifter and center storage console...what does it do? Pushed it a couple times and seeing no action.

It's been a while since I looked at those trucks. Was that the button to turn the puddle lights on?

Too lazy to go outside and look, but I imagine it is the access cover for the shift interlock... essentially so the shifter can be moved from PARK to NEUTRAL without electricity.

I googled that image... I have to manually drive my truck as well. Cruise control is a plus!

Yep.....Josh for the win!
Lane assist is the image on the dash screen center bottom
Hands free parking is the auto parallel parking feature

bingo...found it in the manual under lane assist:

Press the button located on the
center console to switch the
system on or off.

I thought the lane assist was controlled only from the dashboard/steeringwheel menus but I guess not. Thanks for the clues!
