I recently replaced my passenger side power window motor. It worked great, however today I replaced the drivers side as well; and now my passenger side window won't move. I can't get it to go up or down from the drivers side controls or the passenger side controls. It doesn't seem to be getting power (I'm not hearing anything spin or activate).
I've checked the wires coming out of the back of the drivers side control harness and everything appears to be in tact as well as the wiring bundle going through the door panel and into the cab.
Both motors share a common power feed and ground. You need to verify the wiring to and from the switches are still good. Use a DVM and/or a test light.
My last few days have been working on 95 F350 with power window problems.
I would check the pass side switch wiring where the the 2 wires from the motor meet the 2 wires from the switch.
Don't just check the connector, check where the wires are in each side of the connector, push the wires as far as you can into the connector and see if that gets you going.
Thank you everyone for your speedy replies. I was able to test the passenger side with my old motor and it turns out the window was just in a bind. I greased up the track and its working great now... just dumb coincidence that it happened right as I replaced the drivers side.
