My 2011 FX4 has been without power to drivers side window for a couple months, I totally went about fixing this the wrong way as I first replaced the switch, then regulator/motor before checking wiring.
I've read where a few guys have had intermittent issues with their window and pulling the boot between door and chassis to inspect wires would be a smart thing to do
