power window wiring problem

power window wiring problem
my 1997 f-350 passenger window goes down but not up and the drivers master control wont control the passenger side at all , the switches are good and all thes have the right powers and grounds until you hit the switch then theres power going where ground should be im lost any one have any ideas???

Sounds like a bad regulator on the passenger side. I would say check the ground wire connections, but there arent any. The wiring is completely coupled into connectors, up to the main harness. You could check to make sure the passenger door is grounded well, in that you dont have a lot of solvents on the hinges, but thats as far as that will go.

the power is going to the ground because the switch reverses the polarity to make the motor change directions. i would swap the switch,if it is only working in one direction you know the motor is good
