valid point but ive just never had this happen from it but im just going to have the service department look at it since i work at a ford dealer and just go from there.
When I installed my F5 chip it stated clearly to not have the keys in the ignition. Not sure what would happen and didn't want to find out. Did you by chance have the keys in the ignition when removing or installing the chip?
i dont recall but they ordered a new PCM considering all fuses were good and everything else checked out saying it was the pcm i said to order one. but lesson learned i guess but im going to be trading the truck in once we get our mortgage and getting a Eco boost f150 so if anyone wants to buy a nice excursion let me know lol
