PID question

Zf6 manual transmission

I have the app "dash command" anyways. Works great. Just wondering if the "transmission fluid temp " gauge is actually accurate, I downloaded a pre made dashboard and TFT is on there.

The reason I ask is my temp has only seen a high of 50 degrees. I just drove on a 3 hour trip this weekend and that's the highest I seem. 50 degrees.

The auto transmission has TFT, but no engine coolant PID. The manual transmission has the engine coolant PID, but no TFT. The same pin on the PCM PCM is used for either one, but the PCM codes the PID differently - so the app needs to be set to look for the correct PID on the PCM.

I never tried... I have an automatic. The app should be able to scan for it, is this on a fruit product?

I have both apps, but found through the TP(torque pro) vomiting here on this site alone, that TP is the way to go...HOWEVER, I keep my D.C. on deck for the cyl cont test and Buzz Testing, oh..and to check/clear codes

I looked for " torque pro " in App Store. It's not even there. At least I can't seem to find it.

How do you do the buzz test with dash command ?

its an Android based app, not on the fruit phone. I went to the 'bay and grabbed one for about $27 plus the shipping, so far its working nicely...so far....
