need help searching for threads
I'm confused on how you search for a thread your looking for. for example I seen one a while back where all the 2wd guys were posting their trucks. how do I find that thread.

To be truthful the search function within this (and other) websites oftentimes doesn't work so hot depending what you're trying to do. Not sure why this is so, but it is. So what I do when really need to find something is search the site external, from Google or whatever. This keywords + site: deal brings up all the threads with the key words in the title, say you're looking for threads about carburetor adjustment, say jetting. Type this:
Carburetor jetting site:www.ford-trucks.com/forums
Carburetor jetting site:www.ford-trucks.com/forums

I just went to "advanced search" and typed in "post a pic of your truck" and limited the search to the 73-79 trucks.

Do not use the big center SEARCH box.
Do you see the blue line with User CP, Albums, FAQ? See the SEARCH on that line?*
It has a drop down search menu arrow, go to the "Advanced Search" option, top left side (search block) type in there what you are looking for and then go to the lower right column and highlight 73-79 forum. Select it and then you will have a detailed search just in the 73-79 forums.
