I'm looking for a set of brackets to bolt a York A/C compressor to my FE. I've hit up the local yards to no avail. Any tips on where to get a set? I need all of the parts, including the idler pulley and bracket to hold the ear of the alternator.
Correct - and I would be willing to trade somebody all their York brackets and pump for a set of brand new Sanden brackets (and might even chip in on the new Sanden compressor).
I've been wanting to change my york assembly for a sanden unit. If Mike doesn't find everything let me know. My york is installed and working. I have a leak at the service valves and was thinking of changing the whole thing out for a Sanden.
couldn't find anymore AC parts , but I did find my home water pressure tester I was looking for 2 weeks ago .
I guess the garage gremlins decided to give me back the tester in exchange for the Ac parts .
1972RedNeck my setup is available if you're interested. It's complete and currently working on my truck. I have a Sanden bracket I picked up a couple years ago I just don't have the Sanden compressor.
If anyone is looking for a York Compressor and bracket, there's a local guy selling one on CL. Not sure if he'd ship. I was going to buy it, but I think he got tired of trying to set something up for me to pick it up (it's a little out of my way, for little purpose).
