Sanden compressor conversion
Hi folks,
I'm trying to replace my old York A/C compressor with a rotary-type like a Sanden. I've been in contact with a couple of companies trying to locate a bracket to fit on my '75 F-100 to replace the old York upright compressor but to no avail. What gives?! The story I'm told is that there is a plate available but it is for sideways mounted Yorks (like on old Mustangs), but where the original bracket supports the compressor in an upright position, there are no adapter plates made for the Sanden. Seems like SOMEBODY should make one. I don't have the tools to fabricate something like that myself (wish I did). Anyone know of a company offering such an adaptor?

Vintage Air makes a bracket. 15815-VUB. Page 65 of their catalog.
I'm using one on my 460. Which uses the L&L York bracket. Which has the York to Sanden bracket. I think it actually needed to be clearance a little to bolt the Sanden on too. Sorry for the poor picture, but it's there.
