Air conditioning compressor in a bind
Just started putting my vintage air conditioning compressor in today and ran into a little snag. I Recently had my bracket from Alan Grove, chromed and now the compressor is not fitting onto the back mount. It's a little too tight. Which one should i remove some metal from to get it to fit? The bracket or the compressor ears. I'm afraid to try and force it on, i tried a little bit and nothing is giving. Should i try sanding on the ears of the compressor? The chrome bracket cost a fortune and i don't want to spoil the looks of it. What would your first instinct be?
