1972 vin decode

'm trying to decode a vin on a customers 1972 dump truck I checked other threads and the vins all start with F. min starts with N I'm looking for a model and at least an engine size so I can order parts

Looks like this: By the VIN it is a N600.

I tried to find Michelle's N site, but it is gone. She had a lot of information for those trucks.

yes the first letter is "N" from photos it looks like a F600 I really need know what engine size I'm looking at

N61 = LN600 .. introduced in 1970 / N Series: 1963/69.

E = 361 2V FT engine.

V = Kentucky Truck Assembly Plant.

N17496 = 1972.
