So I bit the bullet and upgraded to EFI after frustration with temperamental carbs. After lots of research I chose the Holley Terminator EFI system. I have to say I am very pleased with the results although I did not get everything ironed out yet. Still working on tweaking things to get it running its best.
Thanks! I'll do my best to keep it up to date. I picked up the kit around Christmas when Holley was running a deal and ordered from AutoZone using one of their 20% off online orders. All said and done I was in under $2,000 which is a lot but I used mostly gift cards and credit card points
This looks awesome! I also would like to go this route sometime in the near future. What kind of fuel pump did you go with I've been looking into the FITECH fuel injection system.
That does look cool, seems like a lot of $$ but when upgrading its costly .Even beats the cost of a new truck 40-50 grand . Curious: also, what fuel pump ?Good luck TR
Sorry xsn10s, no reports on the AFI or Howell systems.
For the fuel pump I used the Holley inline billet fuel pump. I'd recommend it as it's much quieter than the Carter I ran for the dual carb setup.
This thread has been dormant for a minute or two. Were there ever any new developments with the install/use of the EFI setup? Any quirks that other users might need to be aware of? Lessons learned?
