Fuel pressure problem/hot start
2005 F-250 6.0 Alright here's the deal. I've been having intermittent problems on hot start. Symptoms seemed much like some kind of air lock. I changed fuel filters several times, dropped fuel tank and inspected (clean), googled my tail off and decided it seemed that the SCT fitting on the HPOP was the culprit. Changed it today and noticed a significant improvement. But after about 30mins of operation and bringing everything up to temp I shut her down, waited about 10mins, and tried to restart. No dice! Same problem. It wants to start but just isn't getting enough fuel when hot starting. On a side not I have also noticed a puff of white smoke on cold start but she always fires right up when cold. What you think? Injector? Bad HPOP? Thoughts?

Standpipes and rail plugs. It's not "getting fuel" because the PCM won't fire the injectors until injector control pressure is over 500psi.

You'll need a 10mm and 12mm hex bits to get them out then back in, the size changes on the new parts.
You really need a gauge to verify a high pressure oil leak or you'll keep tossing parts at it:

This shows you how to get down to the passenger side (the more difficult side because of clearance issues with the HVAC box). He removes that standpipe starting at 4:50, he calls it "crankcase to head plug". He skips the dummy plug removal, it's out but you can see the hole for it that has a green o-ring in it in the front upper right corner of the oil rail while he's removing the stand pipe:
