DRL module issue
Hey all, so I've had a small issue that came up with my truck(1995 F150 302). I went to start it yesterday and the battery was completely flat, not even a beeper or light on when I opened the door. So I boosted it and was on my way with no thoughts about it (the battery is fairly aged). I drove all around that day without turning the truck off for more than 10 minutes at a time. I got home and it sat until this morning. I went to start it this morning to go to work only to find out that my battery was dead... again. It was drained overnight. I did some investigating when I got home and found out after putting in a new battery that my DRLs were coming on as soon as the negative cable was reconnected to the negative post even with the ignition being off and no key in the slot. I've unplugged my DRL module but I'm stumped as to what could be causing this. I've searched around but have had no luck, any input is appreciated as I'm not very good with vehicle electrical systems.

I thought that would be possible. One of my halogen bulbs came loose and managed to melt my headlight housing and blow the bulb up. Small detail I'm this whole scenario. I figure with the bulb doing that it could've managed to short the module somehow.
