Marks in bed
I was getting gas in my new truck it has never had anything in the back of it yet, no bed liner either yet. I noticed these marks and started wondering what they were.
Today I figured it looks like center punches for the fifth wheel rails and gooseneck.
We now resume our regularly scheduled program.

I believe they all do. Makes it a lot easier to install everything when I installed my 5th wheel plates

There are five dimples in the bed of all of the new trucks, each in the center of where a hole would be for the factory installed fifth wheel and gooseneck prep package. There is also a nearly circular flat spot around each of those dimples so that the prep package doesn't end up with some weird interactions with the ribs in the bed floor. I am actually getting the fifth wheel prep package retrofitted onto my truck today, so I guess I will see how that goes.

It should be the same. The circular flat spot in the middle of the bed centered over the axle is pretty easy to spot (as long as it's not covered with stuff like snow and ice.)
