A long wheel base truck will also have four braces inside the bed (2 on each side) above the double walled portion and directly under the front and middle stake pocket holes.
A short wheel base truck will only have two braces (one on each side of the bed) directly under the front stake pockets. A short wheel base truck doesn't have a stake pocket hole in the middle of the bed sides. There is only a stake pocket hole at the front and at the rear on a short wheel base truck --none in the middle.
