Hi my 2012 6.7 with 115000miles recently has Ben throwing a P2000 code which I look up says nox sensor temp. If I drive a lot of Hi way like couple weeks ago went 150 miles after I cleared the code, engine light stayed off whOle time. But if I do my regular about 40 miles hi way then some city driving it comes back on after 60 miles. I called parts stores they can't sell the nox temp senso. Called dealers even though I tell them the code want to put it on diagnosis machine and charge 110pr hr to do that and sensor is 450$. So I'm just wondering if anyone else had issues with this sensor? And if I'm goin to pay that much maybe I be better of saving for a delete of this crap
Buy one from the dealer and change it yourself since it is out of warranty. Forgot the actual price. But in the $150 range I believe. Look in the tech folder and it will show you where it is. Then take it to Advance Auto or a another parts store and have the clear the code if you don't have a scanner.
It's called a great money maker for the dealer.... Monty's advice is spot on. And there are dealers online that will sell you parts and not expect to make 100% profit on the part too.
Hi yeah I Called parts stores around all said it a ford part only. I did find one online for less. But I'm in Canada so it still be after exchange ect close to 400. I have a code reader I have reset it numerous times.

Yep I have the same problem after changing the NOx sensor it must be something else and I bet Ford knows what it is.
Guys in the dry climate areas of the country will be good... but for those of us in the rust belt or close to the ocean I'd imagine, this has to be taken into consideration:
