Getting a code of P2033- Exhaust Gas Temperature Sensor Circuit High Bank 1 Sensor
I was driving home the other day and the regen kicked in and this code popped up. I wasnt able to finish the regen. Later that day I headed out again in the truck and the code was gone. It went into regen almost immediately after driving and it completed the cycle after about 40 minutes of driving. No code now. It seems as lately its going into regen every 50 miles. Can somebody shed some light on the subject and let me know what they think is going on. Thanks in advance. How much is this gonna cost me at the stealership?
Should not cost you more than $100, and since it is emissions related should cost you $0. As long as it is stock and not caused by something you've done or neglected.

This error occurs when the EGT2 sensor temperature signal
is lower (higher voltage signal) than a minimum probable
temperature, indicating an open circuit or a short to power.
It ended up costing me around 300 or so dollars to have Ford change my sensor when it went out. I was with in the five year and 100,000 mile warranty, but they told me it was not something that would qualify. Now I am wondering if I was ripped off.
