Just for future reference. I've seen two truck have a fuel bowl heater wire short just enough to kill a truck but not blow the fuse
That's interesting.. The plug could be hanging out in there swinging around and shorting out.. Wouldn't have thought it would kill it without blowing the fuse though. Crazy
Thanks you guys. I'll change the OP sensor tomorrow. I have a spare, so might as well. I have no loose wires under the hood, so nothing should be shorting out.
Well I started it at 5:30 this morning and didn't shut it off for almost 2 hours while driving around and making my morning rounds. I wonder if I fixed a loose somn or other by wiggling stuff. Everything seemed good, tight, and clean. I'll see how it goes throughout the day. So far it seems good. I'll check back in. Thanks for the help brothers!
Byron, you shouldn't hide these threads from me! I just saw this and I have had plenty of problems with the oil pressure switches but it has never killed the motor. It keeps running but vibrating, this last time I wondered if it was my drive shaft. Stupid me didn't look at the gauge until the vibration. Both the Mare and the OX I ended up hot wiring them to ignition on power. I also have put on a kill switch so if I leave the key on for some reason the pump will not be running.

Just saw this Glenn. I may do your solution. So far the last two days it's been good and I have idled it a LOT! Hopefully my jiggling and tightening of stuff fixed whatever was wrong.
